Let Brotherly Love Continue

That's Drew, he's my big brother. He has always been that example to me that a big brother should be. He has always been one of my best friends through my whole life. When we didn't have a radio in our car on the way to school he would sing "Jukebox Hero" to me every morning. The best way I can describe our relationship together is "He's my Boy".
He has always lead me through my life even if he didn't know it. We always had fun together, I remember one time he was teaching me how to box in our basement (why we had boxing gloves anyway is confusing to me too) but he was teaching me how to box and in that moment I learned that your suppose to keep your hands up in front of your face or you will get punched square in the nose. My brother is bigger then me so a punch to the nose wasn't on my wish list. But as crazy as it may sound I love that memory with my brother, I loved riding around in his car with him listening to music but him singing was always a close second. My junior year when I was getting dressed to go to Prom, he was being my "Alfred" from Batman. He put my vest on me and then my coat and squeezed my face.   There are a lot of memories about my brother that I will never forget.
Thank you Alfred
My brother left on his mission to Orlando,Florida December 2009, he opened his mission call 3 months earlier. The night that he opened his call was the night I started reading the Book of Mormon. Because the example that my brother set by going on a mission changed my life forever. From that night on it took me a year to finish reading, mean while my brother would email me once a week to encourage me to serve a mission. Because he did that I followed in his foot step and he has supported me every step of the way. And now my boy is all grown up and setting yet another example for me. This weekend, March 24th 2012 he is getting married to a girl he loves very much. Not only is he getting married but he is getting married in the St. George Temple. What a wonderful thing that is. In the temple marriages are preformed by the power of God and by the power of God they are not "till death do us part" but the marriage is for time and all eternity. When Jesus Christ was on the earth he gave us the power to seal on earth and in heaven. If you have a Bible handy check out Matthew 16:13-19. For those of you who don't have it, here it is

Super models
"13 ¶When Jesus came into the coasts of Cæsarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

Jesus gave us the authority to seal our families to us for time and all eternity that we may always be with them as long as we follow the example our Savior, Jesus Christ set for us. So to my brother and his wife I say congratulations and thank you for the example!
